I visited Birmingham today and had a good bit of craic hanging around with all my new classmates, visiting mad art galleries and other such shenanigans. Birmingham is not what I expected at all, I had always heard it was a really dodgy and run down city, but what I found was sleek, modern, upmarket and very glassy! I was impressed and will visit it again many more times for sure.
Now I'm back home resting my tired feet, we did a lot of walking today. Looking forward to dinner, and then I'll be getting stuck into some college work for the rest of the evening pretty much.
I'll leave you with a piece of typographic design that I did at a college I attended 3 years ago. It was an interview with a classmate by the way...

Moon
Another of my old shots, taken through my telescope a few months ago.
The night sky has always fascinated me, to the point where I often find myself staring up on clear nights for long periods of time. I don't know what I'm looking for or what I'm even hoping to see, but there is something about it that just demands my attention for some reason.

Mini Pleasure
The first of my mini-pleasures in the U.K.
A limited edition Charles Darwin £2 coin received in my change at Sainsbury's. =D
The simple things in life!
The Drifter
Post numero uno of my blog.
Here is a little bit about me -
I'm a 25 year old Irish guy, currently studying Graphic Communication at the University of Wolverhampton in the fantastic West Midlands, U.K.
I love photography and boxing. Strange mix, eh? Love design as well.
Love to travel and explore, and to meet people from all cultures and walks of life.
Hate constant moaners and negativity in general. Life is great if you are able to see past all the bullshit that society makes us feel guilty about! If you're not smiling, you're not living. It's that simple really!
The simple things in life make me happy. Awesome sunsets, full moons, half moons, quarter moons, stars, life's mysteries, psychology, animals, breathing etc...
I have been in the U.K. for exactly 2 weeks now and I love it so far. Made some cool new friends and even got reconnected with past ones! Life is good.
I'm looking forward with nervous excitement to the challeneges of the year ahead of me.
Stay tuned...
